ABOUT OUR FEATURE:
Jeremy Ueckert is a professional drummer and aspiring DJ looking to make a splash here in Seattle. Originally from Walla Walla, Jeremy studied percussion and Jazz at CWU in Ellensburg, playing in many top ensembles. After school he headed out to sea, working and performing on cruise ships in everything from jazz/ballroom trios, to top 40s bands, to main theater show orchestras performing Broadway style shows, and sight reading guest headliner acts. Jeremy is excited to debut his alter ego, “DJ Noscope” and jam with all of you at Mo Jam episode #349!
HOW IT WORKS:
-You sign up at the event.
- Each song is a brand new band...so you never know what you're going to get!
- This is not an open-mic, it is an improv jam. Your band will decide what groove, melody, or tune it will kick off with. From there, you go with the flow and make it up, watching your bandmates for cues.
This is a open platform for a poet, horn player, rapper, or dancer, to reveal themselves in rhythm and sound for an audience to witness and celebrate. We believe in acceptance and respect for each other and our talents. This is a community and we welcome your creativity!
