It's that time again! Join us at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center as we host our 31st Annual Maple Celebration! The sap will be flowing and we'll have pancakes on the griddle!

The three timeslots listed above are the only times available to come. Each session lasts an hour and a half to allow staff the necessary time to reorganize between sessions. Attendants must arrive as close to their check-in time as possible. Please be sure to double-check which time you are registering for. Attendance will only be permitted if your registration time matches your arrival time. A full breakfast buffet with our pure maple syrup and beverages will be available upon arrival!

A Little Bit About Us!
The Taconic Outdoor Education Center, affectionately known as TOEC, is its own facility located within Fahnestock State Park in Cold Spring, NY. As it says in our name, we are an outdoor education center, and uniquely the ONLY residential center in the NYS Parks system. We provide exceptional outdoor experiences to local and tri-state area students with the goal of fostering a positive relationship with the environment.
Maple sugaring is just one of the many programs we offer, and we are so excited to share a glimpse of that with you! This event has been popular for many years and is often referred to by locals as "Sap to Syrup." Part of what makes this event so special is that we are a reservation-only facility, meaning we are not open to the public. Our Maple Celebration allows us to welcome people from near and far, while also giving you a rare chance to explore our park, learn about maple, and enjoy a delicious breakfast! See live demonstrations of sugaring the sap into syrup in both traditional and modern methods. Children and adults will be fascinated by the free nature lectures being offered by our experienced staff on site. Come on out and experience some of the Hudson Valley's best syrup for yourself!
