The 31st African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL) and 42nd Chicago Music Awards (CMA) combined for the third times in 30 years, will Honor Chicago's Musical Diversity and Culture community in Washington Park, July 4 - 7, 2024, Independence Weekend
Some 153 nominees in 31 categories will be vying for the coveted trophies and you can now vote for your favorite nominees and secure limited time $10 tickets at www.chicagomusicawards.org or www.internationalfestivaloflife.com. Eight Special Honorees in four categories will be taking their well-deserved Plaques for extra-ordinary contributions to the entertainment industry, media, and contribution to social justice activism.
There will also be a CMA/IFOL -2024 Song Contest to select the best Video Song that speaks about and/or includes Martin’s International contributions to the music and cultural community over the last forty years. The song must be a two-minute MP4 and must be send to [email protected]. The finalists and ultimate winners will be justice on and by www.YouTube.com/irawma subscribers. Deadline for submission is June 10th, when the finalists will be determined, and will have a change to perform at the festival/awards. The winners will be confirmed on July 7th, the final night of the festival.
