Master Saumik is one of the leading yoga teachers in Asia, he has been doing yoga for the past 35 years and teaching for 25 years. He is a successful studio owner in Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, India and many more – with graduate teachers known all around the world.

This yoga training course aims to deepen trainees’ practice and knowledge in different aspects of yogic practice, preparing them as a lifelong yoga student and the best teacher within themselves . The training focuses on enhancing trainees’ understanding of yoga philosophy, mastering their yoga practice, and stabilising the connection of the body with the mind and soul. The course comprises multiple layers of learning that are customisable to each individual’s needs, level, and experience. Trainees will study fundamental postures, anatomy, yoga philosophy, and spiritual development. This is a demanding training, scheduled over 4 months – with each month requiring 7 days in person and remaining days for self study. Each month will focus on a different approach and style of yoga – creating a unique experience from an anatomical and spiritual perspective.

The program is divided into four modules, each divided into 4 different aspects of yoga – Advanced Hatha, Anatomy and Therapy, Mindfulness and Stress Management, Alignment and Adjustment – all detailed below.




MODULE 1 – Advanced Hatha, 3-8 November 2023

Module 1 focuses on advanced Hatha yoga practice and teaching. You will learn how to deepen your asana practice and teach advanced postures with confidence and precision.


The Advance Hatha (75 hours) training is an intensive 7-day program that includes 60 hours of training and 15 hours of self-practice/teaching – requiring a submitted report at the end of the course.

The program is focused on Hatha yoga, and each day starts with a powerful breathing practice, followed by yogic Nauli Kriya. The training will focus on advanced Hatha yoga postures, which will include front bend poses, back bend poses, twisting poses, inversion poses, as well as arm balance poses. These postures will be practiced in a way that focuses on alignment and adjustment, allowing you to develop a deeper understanding of each pose and how to achieve it correctly.

In addition to the physical practice, the training will also include daily meditation, which will help you to deepen your focus and concentration, and explore the inner workings of your mind. The program will also cover the philosophy of yoga, which will help you to understand the roots and principles of this ancient practice.

MODULE 2 – Anatomy and Therapy, 1-6 December 2023

Module 2 covers anatomy and therapy, where you will learn about the human body and how to apply therapeutic techniques to help heal physical issues.


The Advance Anatomy and Therapy (75 hours) training is an intensive 7-day program that includes 60 hours of physical and online training, as well as 15 hours of self-study and research. The program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the human body and mind, and equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to apply therapy to heal and cure physical problems.


The training will focus on a range of topics related to anatomy and therapy, including manual therapy techniques, movement therapy, and the latest research on the human body and mind. Through a combination of theory and practical sessions, you will learn how to identify and treat a range of physical problems, such as back pain, neck pain, and joint problems.


One of the key features of this training is that you will learn how to design your own therapy class. The Yoga Alignment and Adjustment with Teaching Methodology course is a comprehensive program that is designed to help yoga instructors deepen their knowledge and skills in the areas of alignment and adjustment. The program is 75 hours long, with 60 hours of in-person training and 15 hours of self-study.


Throughout the program, participants will learn about the principles of alignment and adjustment in yoga, and how to apply these principles in their teaching. They will also learn about the different types of bodies and how to read students’ body language and energy levels, to understand their needs and to tailor the practice to their specific needs.
