We are delighted to be showing our work once again this holiday season at Black Bird Bookstore and Cafe in our old digs in the Outer Sunset. This space holds a lot of history for us, and this year feels especially meaningful because we're getting the band back together! We will be joined by Orlie, Sean, and Kyle - three wonderful artists who shared that space with us for years when it was home to 3 Fish Studios. It will be a true reunion of friends and makers. The show will feature:
• Annie’s botanical paintings and prints, including a brand new "Tree of Life" painting.
• Eric’s linocuts of California landscapes, including his new "Bennett Juniper" print.
• Orlie Kapitulnik’s signature animal prints, with new work created just for this show.
• Sean Hipkin’s evocative illustrations, filled with childhood wonder, dreamlike imagery, and a new work with a big nod to Karl the Fog.
• Kyle Trefny’s new drawings of camp life, made while fighting wildfires in Oregon and Montana.
We would love to celebrate with you at the opening reception on Friday, December 12, at Black Bird Bookstore and Café, 4541 Irving Street, San Francisco. The event goes from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
