Clowns Without Borders UK shares the healing power of play with children displaced by war and natural disaster. We’ve shared workshops and performances with over 75,000 children in 15
countries, upholding childrens’ Human Right to Play, where it is most needed.
Our approach is trauma-informed, child centred, and participatory, using play to create joyful, creative moments of social and emotional support. We work alongside NGOs as part of disaster-relief efforts around the world, and train humanitarian workers and local practitioners in our approach to emotional first-aid: Humanitarian Clowning.
Here in the UK, we share our approach with artists, educators, facilitators, and organisations, through our trainings, workshops, and performances, in order to support healthier, happier communities through creativity and play.
