About this Event
Many ladies shy away from archery because they feel it is too complicated, that they are too old to learn a new sport or concerned that they would be embarrassed in front of others! Women Sharing the Outdoors (WSO) exists to provide positive experiences such as this 3 D Archery Class on Saturday, September 28 from 9am - 12noon at the Izaak Walton, Mt. Healthy Chapter, 3504 Bevis Lane, 45251 near Northgate Mall.
One of the greatest aspects of the sport of archery is the various styles and opportunities to enjoy the thrill of the bow, with or without hunting. Participants will learn safety protocols, archery form, equipment terminology and practice the mechanics of shooting. A great upper-body workout and an increase in self-confidence are added bonuses!
This is the thrill of bows and 3D archery. All equipment is provided.
The $15 non-refundable fee per person helps to cover expenses of supplies and refreshments.
This workshop is in partnership with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and sponsored by the IWLA Ohio Division and Mt. Healthy Chapter.
