About this Event
The 1st Kung Fu Film Festival in Canada started in 2025, screening 7 movies in the cities of Markham and Toronto, with the mission to promote Chinese martial arts culture to Canadian audiences, exercising for a healthy mind and body, to encourage mutual respect, friendship, collaboration and learning between communities and film industries.
More than 2,000 people were in attendance at the two-day event in celebration of Asian Heritage Month in Canada.
