About this Event
On behalf of 2nd Chance, Inc., we are pleased to invite you to support our Annual Banquet, which will be held on June 28, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Temple Beth-El, 3927 Bridge Road, Suffolk, VA. This special event will feature dinner, entertainment, music, an encouraging word, and an inspiring celebration of the lives we’ve impacted together. There will be an honorable recognition of youth that have benefited from the mission of our organization.
For the past twenty-nine years, 2nd Chance, Inc. has helped over 140 young men, women, and adults pursue higher education across 47 colleges and universities. We are proud to share that 85% of our participants have successfully graduated. As a nonprofit organization grounded in Christian principles, our mission is to provide charitable support through supplemental funding for educational and athletic opportunities—empowering individuals to improve their quality of life and future prospects.
In addition to financial support, we provide guidance in class scheduling, SAT/ACT preparation, mentoring, and the development of core values that help shape well-rounded individuals.

The proceeds from this year’s banquet with the purchase of your ticket or donation will directly support scholarships, transportation to camps, and access to cultural enrichment opportunities for the youth we serve.
