Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual BHPE Outdoor Open Tournament. The event takes place August 8–9, 2026 in Calgary. This youth outdoor ball hockey tournament includes U11–U18 divisions and welcomes all skill levels.This is a full team entry only tournament. It is built for teams that want a fun, community-focused weekend of outdoor ball hockey.

and strong interest, we have expanded the tournament to a two-day format. This allows more teams and more fun.
The event takes place at the Outdoor Rink at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Jim Starlight Centre on Tsuut’ina Nation in Calgary, Alberta.
There is nothing like outdoor ball hockey in the summer. Players enjoy warm weather, fresh air, and a fast-paced game outdoors. The focus is fun, energy, and community.
Tournament Details
5-on-5 outdoor ball hockey format
U11, U13, U15, U18 divisions
Full team entries only
Minimum of 3 teams per division
Each team gets at least 4 games
All skill levels are welcome
Two-day format allows more teams to participate
