About this Event
SafeTweens provides hands-on personal safety training in a fun, supportive, and interactive environment tailored to youth navigating increased independence. This program emphasizes boundary-setting, intuition, and strategies to avoid risky or uncomfortable situations, helping participants build confidence in life.
Participants learn:
- How to recognize unsafe or escalating situations
- The importance of personal boundaries
- How to interpret and trust their intuition
- How to develop and apply a personal Safety Plan
Tweens also have the opportunity to practice their skills using our Padded Attacker, building confidence through safe, instructor-guided scenarios.
