✅ The idea of the workshop is that we will focus on developing your technical understanding of some of the very important concepts in salsa. We will go over the leading and following technique in a very detailed way and then focus on drilling (repeating) the concept over and over with the attempt for you to master it.
✅ We highly recommend these workshops for all novice level salsa students. Novice level in HSA is the level where new students without previous experience start. This workshop is an excellent as a supplementary training for your training team sessions. In the HSA training teams we attempt to introduce many different concepts and while we go over leading and following technique and details, to master the fundamentals often require additional repetition and drilling. You don’t have to be an HSA student to participate. No partner needed. Everyone are welcome.
✅ We have received a very good feedback from these workshops. While you master the fundamental concepts in a more thorough way toward the end of the workshop you will get to learn to apply the concepts in a more improvisational setting, which then truly tests your ability to lead and follow in a freeform setting.
These workshops are meant to be taken as a 2hr workshop.
