24 Hour Postural Care Conference

We’re delighted to announce that booking is now open for our inaugural 24-Hour Postural Care Conference 2026, taking place in Newcastle this June.

This will be our biggest event to date, delivered in collaboration with A1 Momentum, Seating Matters, Posicare by Seating Matters. Confirmed speakers include experts such as Simple Stuff Works, Born at the Right Time and PAMIS.

Together, we’ll bring you a full day of expert insight, practical learning, and the latest thinking in 24-hour postural care, from the cradle to the grave - designed to support best practice and real-world application.

Info: This session explores the development and implementation of a postural care pathway and reflects on the key lessons learned throughout the process. Postural care is recognised as an important preventative intervention that supports comfort, function, communication and participation while reducing the risk of secondary complications such as pain, contractures and pressure injuries. Despite increasing awareness, the implementation of structured postural care pathways can be challenging within complex health and social care systems.
Drawing on service development experience within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, this session will examine the practical steps required to embed postural care into everyday clinical practice. It will explore the role of multidisciplinary teams, the importance of training and shared understanding, and the need for ongoing review and reassessment.
