21st Annual Tip-Up for Troops – Kent LakeJoin Veterans Connected and Michigan Bass Nation for one of our longest-running and most meaningful community events.
Free fishing for veterans.
Veterans are paired with experienced anglers from Michigan Bass Nation for a day of bass fishing, connection, and time on the water.
This event is about more than fishing—it’s about building relationships, strengthening community, and making sure veterans feel supported and connected.

🔹 We Are Currently Looking For:
🚤 Boaters to take veterans out on the water
🎣 Veterans who would like to participate
🙋 Volunteers to help throughout the day
Event Schedule:
• Check-in: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Fishing: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
🎣 No fishing license required
(All fishing regulations still apply)
✔ 5 fish limit
✔ Veterans paired with experienced anglers
✔ Prizes awarded
✔ Catered lunch provided
You may register with your own group, or we can pair you with others.
