Join us for a special Sustainability Afternoon in celebration of World Bee Day on 20th May, delivered in partnership with Berkeley and Urban Organic.
This session is open to children only (accompanied by a parent or guardian) and is designed to explore the importance of bees, biodiversity, and sustainable gardening through fun, hands-on activities.
Date: Tuesday, 20 May
Time: 4:00–5:30pm
Location: 2nd floor terrace at The Foundry
Activities will include:
- Beekeeping and gardening sessions
- A close-up look at an observation hive
- Making seed balls / seed bombs with clay, compost, and bee-friendly wildflower seeds to take home
- Exploring solitary bee homes, drilled logs, and cavity nests
- Outdoor learning on the south terrace
There will also be a short break with snacks and refreshments provided.
