A gentle vision board workshop to slow down, soften, and receive what’s already here—connecting with yourself, others, and the year ahead.
About this Event

RECEIVE & CONNECT

A gentle vision board workshop

At the start of a new year there’s always a lot of noise about setting goals, fixing ourselves, or finding your purpose for the next 12 months. This workshop is something different.

Receive & Connect is an invitation to slow down, soften, and open — to yourself, to others, and to what life may bring your way.

Rather than striving for more, we’ll create space to receive: the good already present, the support around you, the ideas, feelings, and possibilities that quietly want your attention. We’ll also gently connect — with what matters to you now, with your inner sense of knowing, and with a shared, supportive group.

This is not about having a clear plan or big intentions. You don’t need to know what you want, where you’re going, or what the year should look like. You’re welcome exactly as you are.

Through reflection, conversation, and creative vision-boarding, you’ll be invited to notice what feels nourishing, meaningful, and alive — and to carry that sense of openness with you into the months ahead.

Come as you are.

And leave feeling a little more connected, a little more open, and gently supported by what’s already around you.

No pressure. No fixing. Just space to receive and connect.

WHO WE ARE
We are artist and writer friends Jodi Jones and Laura Hailstone, founders of Dream, Play, Create.
Having used vision boards for over 12 years to motivate and inspire us in our own personal and professional endeavours, we have developed a fun, succinct process of creating vision boards for both individuals and businesses. We now run workshops every year and love watching people discover the gold and reconnect to what lights them up – their true joy in life.
WHAT PREVIOUS ATTENDEES SAID
“Very enjoyable and made me think differently about vision boards. It was about creating a ‘feeling’ of what I want and a sense of things that make me happy, rather than specific things or goals.” – Michelle, Angel Islington
“I enjoyed the honesty and open support from the other attendees, and Jodi and Laura’s warm comments and helpful suggestions throughout helped me create a board I truly love.” – Zoe, Surbiton
“I liked the set structure and time limits to pull , cut, and stick as it helped me stay more focused on what I wanted and needed.” – Georgina, Epsom
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND
Our workshop is designed in such a way that you are guided through each stage of the process in a safe, warm and fun environment, and there’s no time to over-think. Your subconscious is awoken and we guarantee you will surprise yourself with what you select to put on your board, which is where the real magic lies.
Plus making a vision board in a group environment is so much more rewarding and fun than doing it by yourself.
So treat yourself to some precious me-time and join us for a relaxing two hours where we promise your heart and mind will feel revived and replenished, and ready to create a blissful year of magical moments, no matter what's in store.
