About this Event
Innovation Competition
This event provides a forum for George Washington University (GW) inventors to pitch technologies available for licensing from the GW Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) to a panel of judges. Presenters will have an opportunity to win a combined total of at least $30,000 in prizes*. Featuring 6 pitches of 15 minutes each including questions.
Regional entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals are encouraged to attend to learn about the technologies and to meet GW inventors and TCO staff.
All are welcome to attend event, but pitching in the competition is by invitation only.
*Prize money is for the development of a prototype or proof-of-concept.
NAI GW Chapter Induction Ceremony
The GW Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) was launched in 2023 to honor and support the university's outstanding community of researchers, inventors, and entrepreneurs.
The GW Chapter will induct new Members and Honorary Members at this event.
