About this Event
Every September, the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation of Oregon & PNW gathers our community for a morning of walking, food, music, and connection. The walkathon is our signature awareness event — a chance to stand with the families, warriors, and caregivers living with sickle cell disease across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii.
This is a free event! All ages are welcome! Bring the whole family!

Why we walk
SCAFO has served families in the Pacific Northwest for decades — advocating in hospitals, supporting caregivers, educating communities, and pushing for better care for people with sickle cell disease. Every walker helps us keep that work going.
