Way early here but its for good reason! This year we will have more people in Seattle then ever in recorded history. That means mass crowds and transportation nightmares. So I just want to be as organized as possible for myself and also give everyone who wants to partake, plenty of time to plan. Biggest concern is an Airbnb or other rental house that I plan on booking before May is over. So if you want a place to crash please HMU with what nights and if/what you can contribute. The weekend plan for now is as follows:Friday- This is chill ramp up day. Give everyone coming from out of town to get here, settle in and prepare. If we do go out its somewhere cover free. Maybe a good "family dinner" night in the house.
Saturday- Daytime is dedicated to Pride street fair, just booths and booze, a few shows and events all on Broadway. Night is the big block party! Tickets arent cheap and lines are long so gotta be ahead of the game. They split up into two main areas. Haven't decided on which yet but so far the headliner is Keke Palmer.
Sunday- PARADE AND FESTIVAL DAY! Parade is 11am (we are ALWAYS late). Hang out and watch and celebrate till we get bored, then head over to the Seattle center for the real party. Multiple stages, multiple booze hardens, naked people EVERYWHERE. Its the BEST time 😎. With the last bit of energy spent back up on cap hill at the final block party.
Monday- Nothing but recovery and travel. Strongly advise requesting this day off work. You will end up calling out......trust me I know.
