and Workforce Readiness (PWR) Day at the Capitol!
About this Event
2026 PWR Day at the Capitol
Join the Homegrown Talent Coalition in supporting Colorado’s Homegrown Talent through the Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) Day at the Capitol on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 8:00 – 10:00 AM at the Colorado State Capitol Rotunda.
PWR Day at the Capitol will bring together leaders from education, business, and policy to highlight the importance of career-connected learning and expand opportunities that help Colorado students succeed. Together, we’ll champion pathways that equip students with in-demand skills, college credit, and real-world experiences that prepare them for the future.
Enjoy coffee, breakfast, and networking with policymakers and fellow leaders, along with brief remarks during the first hour. (Final timing details will be shared closer to the event, pending confirmation of legislator availability.)
About the Homegrown Talent Coalition
The Homegrown Talent Coalition represents a bold vision: ensuring every Colorado student has access to college credit, in-demand industry credentials, and high-quality work-based learning experiences aligned with their individual and informed pursuit of passion, purpose, and economic mobility.
These opportunities should not be limited to select districts or regions — they should be guaranteed for every learner. Achieving this requires intentional collaboration, streamlined policy implementation, and a shared commitment from education, industry, and government leaders to remove barriers and create coherent, scalable systems.
