The annual PIT Count provides a snapshot of sheltered and unsheltered homelessness across the region and helps inform planning, outreach, housing, and supportive services. During this briefing, attendees will hear key findings from the 2026 count, including demographic trends, geographic distribution, and changes in sheltered and unsheltered homelessness over time.
This presentation is part of the 2026 State of Homelessness in Houston reporting initiative, which aims to strengthen public understanding of homelessness and support data-informed community response efforts across the region.
