The 2026 National GrowTogether Conference—Soil & Soul: Where Hands Get Dirty and Hearts Connect, is an inspiring two-day gathering of community gardeners and leaders nationwide to celebrate the power of urban green spaces and community gardening.

Join us as we celebrate the power of our communities and cultivate a greener, healthier, and more connected future.

Featuring Kate Brown as the Keynote speaker on Saturday, May 2nd

Kate Brown is the Thomas M. Siebel Distinguished Professor in the History of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is the author of several prize-winning histories. Her latest book, Tiny Gardens Everywhere: The Past and Present of Urban Self-Provisioning was published by Norton in February 2026.

Are you traveling from outside of New York City to attend the conference? There will be a limited number of travel scholarships available to attendees to be used to cover costs associated with transportation and/or lodging based on hardship/merit/distance traveled.
Please fill out the application here to be considered for a scholarship. Deadline to apply is Tuesday March 31st, with notices going out to applicants the week of April 6th.

If you purchase a lunch ticket you do not need to also get a general admission ticket! Deadline to purchase a lunch ticket is Monday, April 27th at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Deadline to request interpretation services is Monday, April 13th.
