The Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council (MHAC) invites you to the 27th Annual Latinos Unidos Luncheon, an event dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for Latino youth in our community.This annual luncheon celebrates the influence and economic impact of Hispanics in the United States while raising critical scholarship funds to help remove barriers to postsecondary education. With the support of our community, MHAC has funded scholarship endowments at Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida, and the University of Tampa.
Program highlights include:
• Keynote address by Christina Unkel
• Presentation of the Matilda Martinez Garcia Leadership Award
• Presentation of the Dr. Ahn-Kay Pizano Award
• Recognition of community leaders and student achievement
