About this Event
Join the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, in partnership with the EMBRACE Initiative, for an interactive simulation where participants must navigate the complex challenges an individual faces when returning home from incarceration. Through a series of realistic scenarios, participants will navigate barriers related to housing, employment, transportation, treatment, vital documentation, and supervision requirements.
This year, in recognition of Second Chance Month, the simulation will place a special emphasis on the role of second-chance employment and the impact that fair employment practices have on a successful reentry.
