Grief Support Group
Join us for our Grief Support Group at Our Place located at 1592A 10th Ave in Fernie, BC. This in-person event provides a safe and supportive space for individuals who are experiencing grief. Whether you have recently lost a loved one or are still coping with a past loss, our group offers a compassionate environment where you can share your feelings, connect with others who understand, and find comfort in a community of support. Our experienced facilitator will guide discussions and provide helpful resources to assist you on your healing journey. Come and join us as we navigate through grief together. This free event is hosted by Heartwise Therapeutic Services and the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force.

Mirey Faema (She/Her)
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #20791), Canadian Certified Counsellor ( C.C.C.)
Mirey is passionate about building connections with, and providing support to, individuals and families who have experienced complex trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem challenges, gender transitions, and grief. Mirey takes a collaborative and integrated approach to help clients find healing and symptom reduction.
In addition to her private practice you can find Mirey at the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre providing free counselling services 2 days a week. Prior to opening Heartwise Counselling Mirey completed her Masters of Counselling Psychology and was practicing in Calgary at the Trellis Society.
