About this Event
SHALLOW WELLS is a progressive hip-hop duo operating where poetry fractures into post-hop, and raw emotion cuts within a hand-built sound. Formed in 2014, their work is dense, deliberate, and unmouldable.
From This Is a Sinking Ship (2017) through Don’t Let Me Gho (2025), they’ve evolved from isolation-forged recordings to a volatile, intentional force; organizing community fundraisers, opening for Snak The Ripper, and several performances at the renowned Wicked Woods Festival.
On stage, heavy themes collide with an unexpectedly magnetic presence that leaves the crowd enlivened. Currently stationed in Kimberley BC, SHALLOW WELLS continue their iceberg drift.
JUNKYARD is a Canadian hip-hop artist known for raw energy, sharp lyricism, and a relentless dedication to the craft. His music cuts through the noise with an underground spirit that refuses to be boxed in — pulling inspiration from anywhere the beat hits hard. No filters. Just bars, grit, and truth.
