About the 2026 Conference

Policymakers, advocates, practitioners, community leaders, business owners and other key stakeholders are invited to join the City of Austin for a free, all-day conference with continental breakfast and lunch included. The day will include:

Panel discussions on housing stability, neighborhood conditions, and Austin’s Economic Mobility framework.

Dedicated sessions on the latest Fair Housing law updates, giving practitioners and advocates practical tools to stay ahead of a changing landscape.

An interactive workshop unveiling the City's new Levers of Economic Mobility Index (LEMI), a tool that helps us understand how housing, health, work, and neighborhood conditions connect to shape a resident's ability to thrive, and where we can act together to change it.

CLE credit opportunities for eligible attendees.

Informal networking throughout the day, connecting advocates, practitioners, and professionals working across sectors toward a more equitable Austin.
