Experience the extraordinary talent within Sitar Arts Center’s community at our 2026 Faculty and Staff Showcase. This special evening celebrates the artists who help make Sitar a vibrant, creative community of learning and belonging.
More than 20 faculty and staff members will step out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight. From powerful instrumental and vocal performances to a captivating gallery exhibition—on view through April 25—the artistry, professional experience, and creative expertise within Sitar’s community will be on full display in our deLaski Theater and Cafritz Gallery.
This special event offers a rare opportunity to experience the work of the artists who inspire and mentor the next generation of creators in Washington, DC.

Founded in 2000, Sitar Arts Center advances equitable access to high quality education and workforce development in the visual, performing, and digital arts. Sitar Arts Center engages DC youth, from early childhood to young adulthood, in building a creative community of learning and belonging that removes financial and cultural barriers to arts education and career training.
