To honor National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, Franklin County Children Services invites you to attend the 2026 Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Breakfast with our national partners from the Safelite Foundation and Foster Love. This year's theme is “Powered by Hope. Strengthened by Prevention.” It's a reminder that hope isn’t just a feeling we have. It’s the engine that drives us forward when the road gets difficult. And every time our community advocates for a child’s safety, supports a foster parent or kinship caregiver, or helps a family heal, we are plugging into that power.
During this free community event, we will recognize young people and families in our care who have overcome great challenges, celebrate community partners who stepped up to support our mission, and honor caseworkers who demonstrate the highest levels of commitment to keeping children safer and making families stronger for longer.
