BLAC’s 5th Annual Storytelling & Policy Summit is underway. The theme is BLAC Revival, and we are excited to host the summit in partnership the ACLU West Virginia, whose key program focuses on youth engagement and organizing. This collaboration will allow us to deepen intergenerational relationships and conversations that are much needed. If you know any youth who would like to participate, please encourage them to register here. Through storytelling, cultural expression, and interactive dialogue, participants honor lived experiences as sources of wisdom, resistance, and transformation. BLAC Revival centers intergenerational exchange, where elders, emerging leaders, and community members come together to share knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen collective power.
This is a space where storytelling shapes strategy, where healing is held in community, and where participants are equipped with tools to address environmental, health, and economic injustices. BLAC Revival is more than a gathering--it is building a network of storytellers, healers, and change-makers committed to sustaining this work beyond the summit.
