The annual competition will heat up again on Saturday, April 4th as amateur bumpers take to the slopes of Outer Limits to battle for a place in the finals. The top 32 men and 16 women will compete in a head-to-head competition for the Mogul Challenge Cup.
Registration will be open to the first 150 registrants.
This competition fills up fast, so we recommend pre-registering to guarantee your spot. The entry fee is $50 for all divisions. The entry fee does not include a lift ticket. Discounted lift tickets for competitors will be available for purchase at registration, or can be reserved as part of your order here. These tickets will only be offered to racers who have already been assigned a bib.
All competitors must check-in at the 3rd floor of the Bear Mountain Lodge between 7:00 - 8:30 am on the event day to pick up competitors' bibs. When tickets for this event sell out here, you can join the waitlist by clicking on "Get tickets" and entering in your information. After that, a drawing will take place after registration on the event day (4/4) at 8:30 a.m. for any unclaimed bibs. We will call names starting at the top of the waitlist formed here & you must be present to claim a bib.
Rules
- Age divisions are determined based on your age as of the date of the competition (4/4/26).
- Please DO NOT register for an age category you or your child do not qualify for. If your category is currently full, please email [email protected] and ask for another spot to be opened up for you. If we are not nearly or fully sold out, we will likely be able to accommodate you if you ask. If we are sold out, you can join the waitlist as mentioned above.
- This is an amateur competition. No USSA members ages 12 and over as of Jan. 1, 2026 who have registered as competitors in the past five years will be allowed to race. Competitors ages 11 and under are eligible to compete regardless of USSA status.
- Each participant must wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet during all event practice/inspection and competition. No exceptions.
- Scope it out. Make a habit of course/venue inspection before every event.
- Know your limits (skill and ability levels) and stay within them. This isn't the time to try something you've never done before.
