Welcome to the 2026 AEF Benefit Dinner!
Join us for an evening of inspiration, honor, delicious food, great company, and giving back.
We are very excited to announce our keynote speaker, the Honorable Catherine Chen, Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit.
We will also honor Ms. Marita Etcubañez, Vice President of Immigrant and Racial Justice at Asian Americans Advancing Justice as the recipient of the AEF Community Service Award, which recognizes the work of an organization or individual who has vigorously served the APA community in the area.
We believe that education turns mirrors into windows for AAPI law students - education helps them see beyond their own individual experiences and allows them to connect with others, and our society, in a meaningful way.
The event will be held at the Eaton DC, a beautiful venue most perfect for our cause. Come together with friends and supporters to continue to champion education for the next generation of AAPI attorneys.

A little bit about AEF: In 2025 , AEF gave $38,000 in scholarships to AAPI law students: $10,000 towards the tuition costs for first-generation law students; $26,000 in fellowships to law students pursuing public interest internships at organizations such as the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center; and $2,000 to the winner of our Matsui Writing Competition. AEF also organized a judicial clerkship conference and a summer judicial internship program.
