About this Event
Upper Primary, Secondary school students and teachers are encouraged by the Andy Thomas Space Foundation and Hamilton Secondary College to attend a 1 hour Space Passport session at the 19th Space Forum being held in Adelaide, South Australia on Tuesday 21st July or Wednesday 22nd July, 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. These sessions provide the perfect opportunity for students and teachers to learn about current/future careers within the Space Economy and Industry and inspire young people to develop the skills to push forward the frontiers of scientific knowledge.
The Space Passport sessions encourage students to;
- Talk directly to companies currently involved with the Australian Space Sector
- Ask companies about current and future careers within their industry
- Find out about the school and tertiary pathways needed to enter the discussed careers
- Have their Space Passport stamped by 4 exhibiting companies after discussing careers and pathways then enter details in an online survey at the Hamilton Secondary College - Space School Booth to win a prize
- Discover how Government School students can register Space Passport Sessions as a 'My Career Portal' activity through the SA Department for Education Student Pathways website.
