15th annual Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award Celebration
Honoring
Winner: Alternative Pathways to Educator Certification (APEC) Center at Columbia College's mission is to recruit, prepare, and retain quality teachers for critical need schools in South Carolina. The center provides a research-based alternative certification pathway and professional development, mentoring, and support aimed at improving the performance and retention of teachers who receive alternative certification in our partner districts.
Finalist: The mission of ArtsNOW is to transform lives through customized solutions to meet educational needs utilizing arts integration and innovative strategies. ArtsNOW partners with schools to utilize integrated learning (arts integration and STEAM practices) across all grades and content areas.
Finalist: YouthBASE equips children in K5 through 2nd grades with Behavioral, Academic, Social and Emotional (BASE) skills so they may succeed at school, at home, and in the community.
