Welcome to the Spring 2025 Scholarship Series!
Our goal is to educate students on the scholarship process, including an essay writing workshop, presentations from Florida Institutions, and scholarship opportunities for both domestic and international students. We will show students how to apply for Valencia Foundation Scholarships, but the information presented throughout the series applies to any scholarship students want to apply for. Students who attend & participate each session, will have the opportunity to play the Kahoot.it quiz to win that session's prize! Additionally, a grand prize drawing will be held at the end of the series, must be present, participate, and have your camera on for all four Zoom sessions to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Your Zoom name must match your registration name to be counted as present, if you dial in by phone make sure to let the facilitators know who you are.
* Dual enrollment students are encouraged to attend as the information provided in the series is applicable to any scholarship not just the Valencia Foundation application.
The ticket gives you admission to the four-part Zoom Series on the below dates:
Session 1: 2-4 pm - January 30th, 2025 (Scholarship Resources)
Session 2: 2-4 pm - February 6th, 2025 (Essay Writing Session & Student Testimonials)
Session 3: 2-4 pm - February 20nd, 2025 (Meet with Transfer Colleges & Universities)
Session 4: 2-4 pm - February 27th, 2025 (Application Review and Questions Workshop)
Your ticket also grants you admission to the *OPTIONAL Zoom writing workshop on:
