About this Event
Asian Immigrants have played a vital role in building and developing Silicon Valley. While the Asian tech workforce is often in the spotlight, it's crucial to recognize the significant contributions of Asian Women. Over the past few decades, Asian women leaders have emerged from the shadows and made a profound impact on Silicon Valley. These women are Fortune 500 executives, professors, governors, researchers, CPAs, lawyers, and business owners in various fields, shaping the landscape of Silicon Valley. To recognize their significant contributions, founded by Dr. Yanli He, PhD in Organizational Leadership, the Silicon Valley Asian Women Leadership Forum invites 12 Asian women leaders from diverse fields to share their leadership stories, experiences, and achievements annually.
Unlike other immigrants who came to the U.S. at a very young age, most Asian women, came to the U.S. in their 30s or 40s. Although they faced massive challenges initially, with wisdom and courage, they fulfilled their American dreams step by step. We beliieve that their unique stories and examples are a testament to the power of diligence, resilience, and determination, and demonstrate the wisdom of East Asians.
Unlike the famous ones, they are not well-known. However, they represent the most real, common, and traditional Asian Women of integrity, diligence, humility, compassion, tolerance, dedication, and resilience. We believe the Asian Women’s unique traits, stories, and achievements will inspire more people to unlock their potential, reach their goals, and contribute to the kingdom’s eternity.
