In celebration of the 50th Annual Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival at Seattle Center, Rain City Sumo invites all sumo enthusiasts, athletes, curious spectators, friends and families to the first Rain City Open tournament. Competitors of all genders, skill levels, and sizes are welcome to take part in the competition, where they will demonstrate their Sumo spirit, and showcase tradition, strength, and cultural respect of Japan’s oldest martial art of Sumo.
