About this Event
In the UK, talented individuals from racially minoritised groups continue to be underrepresented in doctoral education. As a result, crucial voices aren't heard, and the research sector misses out on tremendous chances for problem solving creativity.
The EDEPI (Equity in Doctoral Education through Partnership and Innovation) project aims to change this, by partnering with the NHS to provide support, funding and ring fenced time to enable talented individuals to explore the PhD opportunities available at Nottingham Trent, Sheffield Hallam and Liverpool John Moores Universities.
Join us in person on 27th March for our second Liverpool John Moores University workshop, which will cover:
• Overview of the application process.
• Developing proposals.
• Overview of what’s needed pre application and what develops during the PhD.
• What happens once you start a PhD.
A working lunch will be provided.
If you have any questions prior to the workshop, or missed the opportunity to attend the first workshop, please feel free to reach out to us ([email protected]).
