Join us at the LAIGW Awards and New Member Induction Event
Come join us for a night of celebration and welcome as we honor our new members and induct them into the LAIGW family. We will also present the George Washington Chapter Awards for outstanding projects in the region. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow members, network, and enjoy a fun evening together. Don’t miss out on this exciting event!
This event will honor new members who have made significant contributions to the field of land economics and are being inducted into Lambda Alpha International.
We will be at Cosmos Club in DC, a venue known for its history, prestige, and elegance. Drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and the best colleagues in the land economics and real estate field in the region will be available.
AWARDS
This is also an opportunity to learn more about the winners of the LAIGW Awards Competition. Get ready to celebrate their achievements and be inspired by their stories of success! Award categories are:
- Member of the Year
- Outstanding Plan or Program
- Outstanding Project (more than 200,000 SF or 250 or more residential units)
- Outstanding Project (less than 200,000 SF with less than 250 residential units)
TICKETS
$75 - General Admission
DRESS CODE:
Men are expected to wear a sport jacket, dress slacks, and a collared, long-sleeved, tucked-in shirt or turtleneck in the Clubhouse.
Women are expected to wear dresses, suits, skirts or dress slacks with jackets or tops of appropriate formality. Casual tops with slacks, but no jacket, do not constitute appropriate formality.

Parking
There are many options for parking near the Cosmos Club. Please note that parking at the Cosmos Club is only available to Club members. Valet and parking is limited and may not be available the night of the event. If you would like to park at a nearby parking lot, we recommend you make a reservation in advance at www.spothero.com. Please note that on-street parking is not allowed between 4 pm and 6:30 pm.

You may wish to take a Taxi, Uber or Lyft to the Cosmos Club, which will drop you off at the main entrance.
