A new Presidential Administration and a new Congress – all controlled by the same party – indicates 2025 will be a particularly active year for federal health policy. This presentation will breakdown the results and discuss what Congress and the Administration wish to accomplish and what they are most likely to accomplish regarding federal health policies that impact the healthcare RCM industry. These topics include Medicare reimbursements to physicians, the No Surprises Act, the Affordable Care Act, cybersecurity, healthcare prices, and more.

About the Presenter

Mathew Reiter is Principal at Capitol Associates, Inc., a bipartisan lobbying, and policy analysis firm located in Alexandria, VA. Matt represents the firm’s clients on legislative and regulatory health policy issues including provider reimbursement, value-based payment systems, administrative simplification, and efforts to reform the U.S. healthcare system. Since joining CAI in 2014, Matt has worked with corporate and non-profit organizations for healthcare providers, healthcare facilities, patient advocacy groups and health plans.

Matt is both a policy analyst and an advocate. He helps clients understand an issue so that they can make informed decisions about educating their members and advocating before Congress and federal agencies. Matt provides legislative and regulatory updates to clients at conferences and membership meetings. Matt helps clients build and implement an effective government relations operation.
