About this Event
The 7th annual Empowerment and Engagement Conference brings together Black students in grades 7-12 attending private and independent schools for a day of inspiration, connection, and community at Oakwood School on Saturday, March 8th from 8:30am-3:00pm.
Since 2014, the Empowerment and Engagement Conference has been a space of connection, care, and community for Black-identifying students attending PWIs in Southern California area and beyond. It's more than just a conference--it's a gathering rooted in affirmation, authenticity, and joy.
In light of the recent devastation of the LA fires, the need to come together as a community is stronger than ever. This year's gathering will serve as a space for healing, support, and collective empowerment. We look forward to standing together, lifting each other up, and honoring the power of our extraordinary community.
