About this Event
We are back this year for our 14th City Love Picnic!
It's always a good time of community, food and rest. If you are going to be in town on Labor Day, consider joining us!
A spoken word poetry set by Berry and tap dancer Joseph Webb will take place about 6pm.
Please bring your picnic basket meals, blankets, cards, books, magazines and/or your adult beverages... whatever you need to enjoy a lazy day on the green. Hula hoops, decks of cards, Uno and Connect 4 will be provided.
We will be gathered on Turtle Pond Lawn with a lovely view of Belvedere Castle. You can enter Central Park at West 81st Street, then follow signs to the Delacorte Theatre. Turtle Pond Lawn is just past the theatre. Restrooms are near the Delacorte Theatre as well.
