Join us for an in-person Brunch and networking event in collaboration with the national Black Women in Architecture Network (BWA Network)!
NYCOBA-NOMA is supporting the BWA Network by providing a New York City location to network in person and tune into the virtual Black Women in Architecture Program hosted in DC! This year we are co-hosting with special guests and NOMA family from NJ NOMA!
The event will be held from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM, including the national BWA Brunch live stream from 1:00pm - 2:00 pm EST.
Tickets are $50. Proceeds from the ticket sales will cover event and programming costs.
Our NYC Location: McKissack
We are honored to host this year’s brunch at the NYC offices of McKissack, the oldest black-owned professional construction and design firm in the United States. Event Patron: $500 (2 tickets)
Event Sponsor: $250 (1 ticket)
*Sponsorship includes recognition and promotion of your organization's event sponsorship level plus complimentary tickets as noted per tier. NYCOBA is a 501(c)(6) Organization. Please also email all attendee names to the Treasurer to guarantee entry if you are a sponsor or making multiple ticket purchases. Ticket Sales End Date:
All ticket sales will end Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:59 PM to ensure the attendee list is given to McKissack ahead of the event for proper building entry. If you do not purchase your ticket by 9/18, you will not be on the building list and will be denied entry.

About Black Women in Architecture (BWA):
A resource for the over 500 licensed Black women architects, those aspiring to be architects, and other women in design, planning and allied professions.
The Black Women in Architecture Network (BWA) was created and is edited by Katherine Williams, NOMA, AIA, LEED AP. Katherine is a licensed architect in Northern Virginia and currently a Senior Project Manager at a DC university. Katherine has written extensively about the architecture profession, diversity in the industry, and community development. She has served as editor for multiple publications and was the NOMA magazine editor from 2009-2014. She also writes at katherinerw.com and is publisher/editor for archstories.com
