About this Event
Join us for the 2nd annual Blessing of the Animals event at United Methodist Church Castro Valley! Inspired by Saint Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment, this event celebrates the bond between humans and animals and invokes God's blessing for their health and well-being.
Join us at Wisteria Street on the front lawn with your pets of all shapes and sizes to receive a special blessing - we've seen turtles, dogs, cats and parrots! Please keep your companions on leash or in their carrier. If your companion has recently crossed the rainbow bridge or they cannot travel, feel free to bring their photo for our altar.
