Info: As a function of the incredible Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC), the AABR helps to showcase Asian Americans in corporate leadership, promotes and supports those aspiring to leadership positions, and provides a forum for advancing the economic, political, and social interests of Asian Americans in organizations throughout the United States. Our panel of distinguished industry leaders will reflect on the organization's accomplishments over its first decade, the challenges we have faced, what we have learned along the way, where we are now, and our future pathways for advocacy, allyship, bridge-building, community engagement, diversity and inclusion, education, networking, partnerships, resources, and more.

In this context, we are inviting business leaders from various industries to share their experiences and discuss the action steps they have taken to invest in talent development and create a roadmap for the growth and advancement of Asian Americans in their workplaces. Our panelists will reflect on their experiences as change agents and share best practices and actionable steps for removing barriers to career advancement, including establishing inclusive recruitment and hiring practices, promoting employee cultural competency, creating supportive allyship programs, ensuring visibility and representation, leading by example to cultivate inclusive leadership, and more.

Info: Asian American women who are emerging leaders in the workplace face unique challenges and priorities. Nuanced leadership support and empowerment allows them to vividly contribute their talents and perspectives to their organizations successfully. We've invited a distinguished group of Asian American women in senior leadership to share their career journey experiences, exploring the dimensions of intersectional identity, stereotypes and bias, representation and visibility, networking and mentorship, career development and advancement, advocacy and allyship, work-life integration, and mental health and wellbeing. Our panel will share targeted approaches and strategies they have used to help pave the way for the success and advancement of other women emerging leaders in the workplace. They will also discuss the importance of Asian American women in senior executive positions to help other Asian American women thrive as they ascend professional ladders.
