This event combines everything you love about our annual National Night Out event and Touch-a-Truck! Join the Apex Police Department and Apex Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources for an evening of ultimate fun! This is a free event for the community and no registration is required.National Night Out was designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community under positive circumstances. National Night Out events are held in August nationwide, however our event is held in October to beat the summer heat. There will be safety information and displays, as well bounce houses, games and lots of interactive activities.
Touch-a-Truck allows children to get in the driver’s seat with a free hands-on experience with vehicles of all kinds. We will have local representatives and their vehicles from emergency services, construction, landscaping, military, transportation, and delivery all in one place! Children will be allowed to touch, climb on, and ask questions about their favorite trucks and cars in a safe and supervised environment.
