Program Description

This 90+ hour, virtual, interdisciplinary workforce education and training certificate program provides generalist-level education in aging, public health and palliative care, including geriatrics, gerontology, social work, psychology, health policy and advocacy, and pastoral and spiritual care. The overarching framework of this virtual course offering is public health and palliative care, orienting the learning experience to the contexts and challenges presented by serious or chronic illness and death or dying, as well as pandemics, disasters, migration, and humanitarian crises.
