Imperial College Quiz Society is excited to announce that we will be hosting the UK site of the 2024 ACF Regionals tournament. At 3 dots on the difficulty scale, we expect this to be a challenging but rewarding tournament. Bethany Howard will serve as tournament director, with Gus Redding as the safeguarding officer. If you have any queries, feel free to message this page or email the quiz society at [email protected].The tournament will take place inside the Royal School of Mines building, on Prince Consort Road, just opposite the Royal Albert Hall. This is a 10-15 minute walk from South Kensington underground station. More details on exact timings of the day will be announced in due course.
FEES AND DISCOUNTS
Base fee: £100
New to quizbowl discount: −£67.50*
Shorthanded discount (1–2 players): −£25
Travel discount: −£10 per 200 miles traveled one-way
Buzzers: −£5 per functional buzzer system
Staffers: −£25 per staffer with a functional laptop
*This applies to teams from a university that has not participated in a non-novice tournament since 01 September 2023, and do not have anyone on the team who has done so while at a different university.
