The child welfare system remains in crisis and children are suffering. The Church must be part of the solution. As church leaders and outreach staff, you have the power to impact change in the foster care system.
Here is what you can expect from this 3-hour event:
- Hear directly from city leaders and social workers on why they are asking the faith community to help in this time of crisis.
- Learn about a new tool you can take back to your church to help make “foster care” much less scary and create more empathy for what families are going through in our city.
- Engage in guided brainstorming sessions on specific ways your church can serve this community.
