GM Chamber's Global Connect Network is an initiative aimed at helping businesses grow their international footprint. Whether you are looking to find overseas buyers, suppliers and/or partners for any investment projects, our extensive network connects you with practical information, advice and specialised market entry services.
Our network is made up of public and private sector organisations, and we make sure that depending on your international strategy we connect you with the right support.
The Chamber works closely with the Department of International Trade (DIT), foreign embassies, trade sector associations, overseas chambers and private sector consultancies to ensure our members and customers can access the right support in every stage of their internationalisation journey.
Our Global Connect Network is made up of approved suppliers which have gone through a vetting process with the Chamber. They are trusted partners who we work commercially with.
How can the Chamber and our partners help you?
Our partners are experts based overseas and able to help you with:
- General market analysis - including trade stats to understand current trade flows and sector opportunities as well as export potential for your goods into that market.
- Practical advice about exporting, importing or setting up a presence in those markets: Customs information related to selling goods and/or services to that market or investing.
- Cost-Effective Market Entry Services - including market research, partner finding, B2B programmes and more. Whether you want to find buyers or suppliers or set up a presence overseas, they are at hand to support British companies.
Who can access this service?
Members and non-members can access the free 20-min consultation, however Chamber Members can access preferential rates on any Market Services with most of our approved suppliers network.
How does it work?
Complete the registration to request a free 20-min consultation with an expert in the market/region of your interest. A member of our team will contact you to arrange a time and date suitable for a virtual meeting.
How much does it cost?
The virtual clinic does not have a cost, and both members and non-members can access this service.
Terms and Conditions on Late cancellations and No shows
Whilst this service is free, please note that if you decide to cancel your booking, you must do so in writing and emailing us at [email protected] with at least 5 business days clearly indicating the event/market and delegates you are cancelling the attendance for. Failure to do so, will incur in an administration fee as follows:
- Members: £20+VAT
- Non-Members: £40+VAT
